MQ-9 Gas Sensor Module

SKU: GHN-4338

2.25 JOD

Overview

The gas sensing material used in the MQ-9 gas sensor is tin dioxide (SnO2) with lower conductivity in clean air. The low-temperature (1.5 V heating) is used to detect carbon monoxide by high-temperature cycle detection method. The conductivity of the sensor increases with the increase of the concentration of carbon monoxide gas in the air. The high temperature (5.0 V heating) detects the smoldering of the combustible gas methane and propane and cleans the low temperature. gas. The change in conductivity can be converted to an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration using a simple circuit. The MQ-9 gas sensor is highly sensitive to carbon monoxide, methane, and liquefied gases. This sensor can detect a variety of gases containing carbon monoxide and flammability. It is a low-cost sensor suitable for a variety of applications.
